
‘Tony’s talk ‘Further Notes on the History of Annestown’ follows on from his previous talk on the same subject for last year’s Winter Series, which was well received. Among other aspects of this talk Tony will explore the artistic contribution of some members of the Annestown community.’ This history lecture will be followed by a questions and answers session.
‘Tony Hennessy is a professional genealogist, living in Annestown. He has been involved in the world of genealogy for forty years. As well as undertaking genealogical research by commission he specializes in drawing family tree charts. He lectures on genealogy courses at UCC and UL and also runs his own genealogy evening courses. He is a regular speaker on the topic of genealogy. He is a member, since 2012, of Accredited Genealogists Ireland and a member of the National Library of Ireland Genealogy & Heraldry Committee’
